This course will have a strong focus on developing drawing and painting skills using a variety of media and methods while also offering the opportunity to explore 3D media. Students will view well-known works of art, engage in art criticism, visit online art galleries, participate in online forums, and create an online portfolio.

Music: Composition and production 11 Takes you through the basics of Music Theory, Song Arrangement and using a popular DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) – how to record midi and use loops. This course will allow you to progress your musical knowledge for theory and production in conjunction with a computer and a midi controller (keyboard) and deepen your understanding of sound, melody, rhythm and harmony. You will work to create your own music as well as arranging and editing samples. Some musical background is required for this course, whether you have taken Music 9/10/11 with us before, or you have taken lessons recently. This course does require the purchase of a Midi Keyboard or Software if you already have a Midi Keyboard. The cost is around $129.00 for the software and keyboard.

This class lays the foundation for musical theatre performance through learning to use your own personal voice type to sing different kinds of songs, learning to analyze the lyrics to find out how to communicate the story through vocal and physical expression, and learning to develop the character in order to bring the song to life through singing, acting and dancing.
