Once each year, CBC Vancouver opens their doors for an open house - the Open House and Food Bank Day. Every year, we've reserved a group spot to walk through the newsroom, and every year, students and families have been enthralled by the inner workings of the newsroom. If you want to meet and join up with a TLA group, we'll go in at 10:00am, December 6. Address is 700 Hamilton Street. Easy access via SkyTrain. Sign-up here!

TLA's younger students and their parents are welcome to join us for a skating Christmas party scheduled for a 1:00 pm start on December 11. We have changed the date (again) due to a scheduling conflict at the arena. The party will be reasonably short - arrive and prepare to start skating at the Cloverdale ice rink at 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 11. Skating is from 1:00 to 2:00.
