Join TLA's blended Hour of Code, which you can do live on Wednesday, December 7th, either in-person at Hawthorne (in Classroom 2) or online (in our RingCentral meeting room) from 10:30 to 11:30am, or on your own any time during the week of December 5th to 9th (Computer Science Week)! This Christmas skating party is for all K-9 students with an emphasis on those not in our Two-Day Blended classes that occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Cloverdale (you have a separate skating party scheduled). Bring your Legos and let's do some building together! Each session, participants will either vote on a challenge or be assigned one directly. Students will work on the challenge with their own Lego blocks, and then meet online at the end of the hour to share their results. "Lego Challenge!" activities will foster learning in areas such as Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies (ADST - ideating, making, sharing), Mathematics (patterns, problems solving), and Language Arts (listening, speaking, communicating). This Christmas skating party is for all K-9 students in and around Prince George. Please join us Friday, December 16, 2022. We have the ice from 1:15-2:30 pm at the Elk Centre Arena.
