VSO Scheherazade Field Trip
Join us for VSO’s Relaxed Performance (dress rehearsal) of Scheherazade LINK Scheherazade is a symphonic composition by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, and the music depicts drama and adventure! Based on One Thousand and One Nights (also known as The Arabian Nights), the tale follows Scheherazade, an intelligent young woman who uses storytelling to distract Shahryar, the angry sultan. Vanderhoof Conservation Office Tour
This will be a short visit to the Vanderhoof CO Office, with a presentation by a Conservation officer covering animal safety, the role of the CO and the equipment they use to do their jobs. Depending on numbers, we may need to break into two groups. There is no charge for the event. *The office is located in the Service Canada building, accessible by the door on the side of the building closest to the high school.
