Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve Field Trip
Grades 8-12 students (priority to grades 8 & 10 students) are invited to this real-world, hands-on learning while exploring the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve and the state-of-the-art Seymour Capilano Filtration Plant (SCFP). Pick up and drop-off at TLA Hawthorne, bus ride included in price!

Feel free to bring snacks to eat and share with friends 🙂 Extra stuff 😛 Bring blankets or something to sit on! --> There won't be chairs set up, but they can be provided if need be. If you'd like to bring a game to play or something else to occupy you, feel free. --> It's just going to be a fun chill time where you can do whatever you want.

Grade 8-12 students and daring parents are invited to meet at the base of Grouse Grind, hoof it to the top, have lunch, and then take the gondola back down. Younger students welcome if with parents. Field Trip information: Come join Mrs. Maureen Krump for a guided tour at the Vancouver Maritime Museum. We will take a trip through time beginning with tales of early explorers, unpack early navigation methods, and discuss European Explorers' first contact with British Columbia's Indigenous Peoples from the perspective of both groups.
