Gulf of Georgia Cannery Tour
Grade K-12 TLA students are invited to participate (non-TLA students are welcome, too), but the program is geared toward K-7. There are many lovely sites in the area to capture the interest of all ages. The Gulf of Georgia Cannery Society honours the importance of Canada's West Coast Fishing history by sharing stories of the fishing industry and fishing communities through exhibitions, collections, programs and events. THURSDAY, May 8th, 2025 at BC Wildlife Park, Kamloops. The BC Wildlife Park is an accredited, non-profit organization and is home to nearly 200 animals and 65 different species that are native to British Columbia.
