Rocket Lab Program Notes
What goes up doesn’t necessarily come down. How do rockets get up there in the first place? Students
participate in this live demonstration of the basic principles of Newton’s Laws of Motion and their use in
rocketry. (25 min)

Surfing the Solar System Program Notes
See the Solar System as you have never seen it before – leave Earth behind to tour some of the most
intriguing destinations in our Solar System and find out more about some of the latest discoveries on our
neighbouring planets. You’ll even have a chance to see Earth from the perspective of astronauts on the
International Space Station. (35 min)

Note – pay parking at the site (Parking Lot #60)
6am – 6pm: $4.50 per hour ($4.10 with the Zipby App) / Maximum $13.50 ($12.50 with the Zipby App)
