DESCRIPTION:Grade K-12 TLA students are invited to participate \nSchedule:\n11:00am Arrive\, \n11:15am Cosmic Courtyard\,\n11:45am Rocket Lab\,\n12:15pm\nLunch\n12:45pm Surfing the Solar System\,\n1:45pm Depart \nRocket Lab Program Notes\nWhat goes up doesn’t necessarily come down. How do rockets get up there in the first place? Students\nparticipate in this live demonstration of the basic principles of Newton’s Laws of Motion and their use in\nrocketry. (25 min) \nSurfing the Solar System Program Notes\nSee the Solar System as you have never seen it before – leave Earth behind to tour some of the most\nintriguing destinations in our Solar System and find out more about some of the latest discoveries on our\nneighbouring planets. You’ll even have a chance to see Earth from the perspective of astronauts on the\nInternational Space Station.
