
BC Wildlife Park Kamloops Field Trip

THURSDAY, May 8th, 2025 at BC Wildlife Park, Kamloops.
The BC Wildlife Park is an accredited, non-profit organization and is home to nearly 200 animals and 65 different species that are native to British Columbia. Many of the animals at the Park have been rescued or were orphaned and are unable to survive on their own in the wild. To learn more about the important work they do, please visit the website.
This field trip is built around the “Encountering Wildlife” educational program. From 10 – 11am, students will meet three exciting animals up close and learn about how they survive in their habitats. The rest of the day families are free to explore the rest of the many animals in the park until closing at 5pm.
*Space is limited for the Encountering Wildlife program. Students and supervising adults only.
Grade K-12 TLA students are invited to participate (non-TLA students are welcome, too), but the Encountering Wildlife program is geared toward K-7 and has a cap of 25 students.
9:30 – 9:40am Arrive and gather at park information center entrance
10:00 – 11am Encountering Wildlife class. *Space is limited, so this will be students & supervising adults only. No younger siblings, unfortunately.
