Do you have a child who struggles with memorizing their math facts? Or a child who is just beginning to learn their multiplication and is looking for a fun way of doing so? Then this is the class for them!

Memorizing the times tables is a very daunting task for many children and for good reason; they are very abstract facts. During the class, students will be introduced to simple stories, with characters, which gives them context allowing for quicker recall of their facts. This class will use the Times Tales program which covers the most difficult to memorize facts: 3×6, 3×7, 3×8, 3×9, 4×6, 4×7, 4×8, 4×9, 6×6, 6×7, 6×8, 6×9, 7×7, 7×8, 7×9, 8×8 8×9, & 9×9.

*** Prerequisite – students need to have a basic knowledge of multiplication.

Meets twice a week for 30 minutes each. Breaks for two weeks to allow practice and mastery of the first grouping of facts and then resumes again for another two weeks.

1:30 – 2pm Mondays and Wednesdays : Jan 10/12, Jan 17/19, Breaks for 2 weeks, Feb 7/9, Feb 14/16
