Gabriel Linder

Gabriel takes great joy in spending time with and supporting TLA families on their educational journeys. He joined TLA in 2006, and after several rewarding years of serving as an online teacher, took on the position of Vice-Principal in 2011, and then became Principal in October 2015. He is humbled to be serving as leader of such a dedicated and professional staff, and feels abundantly blessed to be an educator in a unique and wonderful community of students and families.

Gabriel enjoys collaborating with other Independent school Distributed Learning principals, and acting as an advocate for Independent school education in British Columbia. In October 2017 he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Federation of Independent Schools Association (FISA) as an Associate Member Group (AMG) director. He currently serves as the AMG representative on the FISA iGroup that supports MyEdBC usage in independent schools, and is a member of FISA’s DL committee.

An active member of Holy Family Parish in Vancouver, he loves spending any spare time with his family, and also enjoys playing basketball and reading.
