Gabe takes great joy in spending time with and supporting TLA families on their educational journeys. He joined TLA in 2006, and after several rewarding years of serving as an online teacher, took on the position of Vice-Principal in 2011, moving on to become Principal in October 2015. He is humbled to be serving as leader of such a dedicated and professional staff, and feels abundantly blessed to be an educator in a unique and wonderful community of students and families.
Gabe enjoys collaborating with other Independent Distributed Learning principals, and acting as an advocate for Independent School education in British Columbia. In October 2017 he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Federation of Independent Schools Association (FISA) as an Associate Member Society (AMS) director, and is the chair of FISA’s DL committee.
Gabe is a parishioner at Holy Family Parish in Vancouver, and his free time is often spent coaching baseball, playing basketball, reading, or generally being involved in the lives of his four fantastic children.
