SKY TREK ADVENTURE PARK & ENCHANTED ADVENTURE PARK
When: Tuesday, September 18th @ 10:30am (until whenever the course is completed 🙂 )
Who: All home-learners are welcome! (Non-TLA students are welcome to join us!)
Come for a bit, or come for it all!
This outdoor, adventure excursion will offer students and their families an opportunity to kick off a new school year by getting moving, soaring to new heights, and growing courage through a morning of climbing, balancing, and zipping! This is a fun way to gather with other learning-from-home families, meet some new friends, and kick off the learning year with some excitement and laughter!
Sky Trek Adventure Park Details
Option #1: SKY COURSE (for kiddos who can reach a min. of 170 cm WITH FEET FLAT ON THE GROUND):
Fee: $40/person for kiddos 15 years and under
$49/person for kiddos 16 years and older
- Height:
- Solo: must be able to reach palm of hand to 6ft / 183cm, feet flat on the ground, hand extended upward, or
- Accompanied: must be able to reach palm of hand to 170cm / 5ft 6in with both feet flat on the ground to go with someone who can reach 6ft.
- Maximum weight: 113kg (250lbs)
- Youth under 15 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on the course
- Note: if you do not have an eligible adult to accompany a youth, please contact Pam Smid @ psmid@schoolathome.ca;
- Please note that there is a fee for any adults who participates in the Adventure Park course)
- Closed toe shoes required – no Crocs or sandals!
Option #2: SKY GYM & SKY ADVENTURE (for kiddos who are between 110cm and 140cm):
Fee: $29/child (parent accompaniment on the course is *not* required)
- Kids Sky Adventure: for ages 5+ yrs
- Kiddos must be supervised by a parent; there is no fee for adults in this section of the park
Option #3: SKY GYM (for kiddos aged 2-12yrs):
Fee: $18/child (unlimited access to the SKY GYM)
Option #4: THE ENCHANTED FOREST (for anyone of any age to enjoy!)
Fee: $8.80/child & $12.80/adult
We will meet at the Sky Trek Adventure entrance just prior to 10:30 am
**Please note that any families interested in BOTH The Enchanted Forest & Sky Trek can purchase tickets for both**
(Please be advised that participants on the SKY COURSE will be required to attend a safety briefing/ course training, which will commence at 10:30am. BE ADVISED: IF SKY COURSE PARTICIPANTS ARE LATE AND MISS THE SAFETY ORIENTATION, THEIR ABILITY TO ENJOY THE SKY COURSE MAY BE IMPACTED
