Screenagers, The Next Chapter: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience
Last year TLA hosted a few screenings of Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age at face to face parent conferences we hosted around the province. The movie is available to watch (for a fee) through their website at https://www.screenagersmovie.com/ (click “watch”).
On February 18 at 7:00pm TLA Online is planning to host an online screening and follow-up discussion of the sequel, Screenagers, The Next Chapter: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience, focusing on stress, anxiety, and depression.
“High Stress, Anxiety and Depression are experienced by millions of young people. We follow physician and filmmaker, Delaney Ruston, as she discovers solutions for improved adolescent well-being in the digital age.”
You can also pay to watch The Next Chapter yourselves instead of waiting for the school screening on February 18…or if you’d like to watch the TLA screening and haven’t seen the first one yet, I recommend that you have a watch, especially if you have concerns about the impact of screen time on your children’s health. The film’s website linked above also has other resources you may find useful in addressing this challenging issue.
