OWL – Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is coming to Hawthorne! They specialize in rehabilitating injured raptors, which ranges from rescuing and fostering baby owls, to major surgeries! Come and learn about different raptors, what they need to live, and how we can help them. Students will have the opportunity to meet two live raptors during their classroom program. The Educator will bring 1 owl and 1 hawk/falcon/turkey vulture. Link to the OWL website.
There are two sessions available – for different age levels. Please sign up for the level that your son/daughter will be most engaged with. Parents are welcome to attend as long as there is enough room.

Session 1: Grades Kindergarten to 6: 11am to Noon (Maximum number of students is 30)
Session 2: Grades 7 to 12: 12:30pm to 1:30pm (Maximum number of students is 30)
