Mount Cheam Hike
Quick info about a short-notice opportunity (these do come up from time to time!), Mr. PJ Reimer who is spearheading our Outdoor Education Program is leading a hike of Mount Cheam in Chilliwack on October 20. See more general info about the hike on the VancouverTrails.com blog (a great source for finding hiking trails!).
Sign-up will be first-come-first-served, as we’ll need drivers with 4x4s to navigate the road to the trail. Mr. Reimer can drive four students, but beyond that anybody who goes will need to be transported by another adult in a 4×4.
Transportation: meeting at Tim Hortons at Vedder and Luckaway at 8:00am, Oct 20.
Bring: Appropriate snacks, footwear, clothing.
We’ll let everyone know on October 15 what the situation is like regarding drivers.

Mount Cheam Hike – Chilliwack
Date: October 20 – 8am meetup, 2pm approximate return to parking lot.
Cost: Free
Ages: all ages, parents invited, students under age 13 must be accompanied by adults. Hike is likely too difficult for children under 7 years old, but parents use your judgement.
Sign-up deadline is October 15.
