November 30 from 9:30 am -11 am Coastal Images art class at Langley Centennial Museum
Grade 2-7 TLA students are invited to participate (non-TLA students are welcome, too)
9:20am arrive and gather in front of museum
9:30am-11am Emily Carr art class: Students are introduced to the artwork of Emily Carr and her travels to visit First Nation’s villages on the Skeena River and Haida Gwaii that inspired her artwork. Students learn techniques Emily Carr used in her earlier works; sketching, and watercolour.
Prepare to get outdoors for a period of this program to sketch in nature just like Emily Carr and then create a watercolour masterpiece.
Where: 9135 King Street, Fort Langley
Cost: $8 per student There is a 15 student minimum needed for the field trip to go ahead.
