Kanaka Creek Fish Fence *Rescheduled*

***UPDATE: Due to flooding of the creek, we needed to postpone the field trip.

There is a new date: THURSDAY, November 8  from 9:30-11am

Grade K-6 TLA students (with parents) are invited to participate (non-TLA students are welcome, too)

9:25 am arrive and gather in front of park sign

9:30-11 am: Guided tour of 240th Fish Fence in Maple Ridge. It is an ideal place to view spawning and migrating salmon up close. Our guide will give students opportunity to view salmon at the fence and then walk the class to an active spawning area on Kanaka Creek.
