Birding at Reifel Bird Sanctuary

Grade K-12; TLA students and families are invited to participate (non-TLA students are welcome, too)We will meet at the entrance at 9:00am

Last entry 3 pm.

Self guided tours, many trails and routes or we could travel in several groups.  A chart is posted on the entrance building on what birds were recently seen and what to look for.  You will  need a parking pass and must reserve individually online for a vehicle from 9:00-4:00. People usually spend 1.5 to 2 hours at the sanctuary.

Be prepared for the weather, hat, rain gear.  Bring a lunch or snack. Bring binoculars. You can download the free app on your mobile phone of Merlin and E-Bird if you wish.  Some individuals take a picture of the chart and then note what they have seen.

Where: The Reifel Bird Sanctuary’s address is 5191 Robertson Road in Delta. It’s about a 20 km drive north of the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal in Delta.

They are closed Mondays.  (You have to sign up to register online, first to get your vehicle registered for parking).  If you signup for the TLA information and do not register for parking, you will not get in the gate.
