** Cancelled** Beatty Biodiversity Museum (UBC) Field Trip

Learn something new at the Beaty Museum! Our interpreters will take you on a guided tour of the collections, focusing on a topic of their choice. Expect a wide variety of stories that may include museum history, evolution, ecology, local diversity, biodiversity basics, and UBC Biodiversity Research. After a walk and talk in the collection, your group will spend some time getting hands-on with real museum specimens in the Discovery Lab.
FRIDAY, January 23, 2026, from 12:45pm to 1:45pm
We are meeting inside the museum at the entrance. I will give information if you want to explore the museum before the tour starts as a full day admission is included in your costs.
Grades 5 to 12.
Maximum number of students is 30. 3 free adult supervisors. Adult supervisors are expected to monitor and manage younger participants’ behaviour. Attendants for participants with special needs receive free admission. Additional adults will need to pay admission.
Please Dress for the weather! You will need to walk from transit or parking. (More information about getting there will be sent in January.)
