STEM Quest is a series of Science Exploration and Innovation class that will be held throughout the school year for grades 9 to 12. The goal is to encourage science and engineering exploration as well as to build up a science community at TLA, and perhaps enter a Science competition in the future.
This class will focus on designing, building, and testing a water filtration system. There will be opportunity to bring some materials from home to include into the design, as well as time for re-designing and re-testing. Students will typically work in pairs or small groups, but could work independently if they want to. Generally, this is a good first introduction to design, building, testing.
