Join Mrs. Ozaki for an in-depth, fun-filled novel study of the “The Westing Game” – a mystery like no other! This wonderfully crafted novel by Ellen Raskin is a fascinating read for upper elementary and middle school students! This incredibly fun, but confusing mystery will have students studying clues, character traits & development, setting, and critical thinking as they do their best to solve the case.

During the sessions, Mrs. Ozaki will have students dive a little deeper into the story by leading them through discussions and activities related to the chapters read. Students will also work in small groups to review their “case files” and clues to help solve the mystery. Students will also be given chapters to read each week and activities to complete to bring and share at the next meeting.

*Please do not read ahead of the schedule so that we can all solve the mystery together.*
