Come and learn about an important Indigenous group in Canada, the Metis. Learn their history with videos and info from my own family’s heritage. Hear their music and learn how to “jig” (Metis dance). We will all participate together to learn how to greet others and talk about the weather, family and other general phrases, in Michif, the Metis language There will be vocab lists, music, games, and videos.
