Dystopian novels are well-liked around the world and frequently turned into major motion pictures. Entering the Dystopian Book Club Series 2 will study Suzanne Collins, “The Hunger Games Book 2: Catching Fire.” Students should read 50 pages of the novel per week and be prepared to discuss and debate questions and opinions pulled from the reading.
This class will better prepare students for their participation in literary circles, an activity used frequently in upper-level English classes. Books available through the TLA library.
