Each session, students will come to class having read the assigned novel.
The first novel is “In the Reign of Terror” by GA Henty which will need to be read by our first class, Jan 30. The second novel will be the Factory Girl by Barbara Greenwood and will need to be read by Feb. 13. TLA has copies of the novels that I can get to you once you are registered for the class. The focus of this group will be historical fiction touching on the French Revolution, Industrialization, Colonization, and World War. Together we will discuss the books, place the events on a timeline, and complete some book-related activities.
