SUMMARY:K-9 Christmas Skating Party
DESCRIPTION:This Christmas skating party is for all K-9 students with an emphasis on those not in our Two-Day Blended classes that occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Cloverdale (you have a separate skating party scheduled). So\, calling all other K-9 students in the Lower Mainland or visiting the Lower Mainland December 8\, 2022. We have the ice from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Cloverdale Arena. Registered and Enrolled students are welcome. \nWhat is involved? – TLA will pay for the ice rental. Students will need to rent their own skates and helmets if needed (both for $5). TLA will provide a goodie-bag gift for all students as they depart the arena at 3pm. TLA will also supply a prize or two for the best Christmas outfit – sweater\, costume\, etc. And we will work with the arena to have Christmas carols playing throughout.\nParents are welcome to attend and come out and skate with us\, too. Because of the limited arena size\, we will cap attendance at 75 participants on the ice.\n\nSign up link in the Nov. 19th bulletin!

Please answer below if you would like to also visit the Nitobe Japanese Garden on campus for an additional cost ($8-$12 depending on age).\n\nFrom the museum:\n\n\nWhen you visit\, you will notice the Great Hall will be undergoing seismic upgrades. We encourage you learn more about the monumental project in our two accompanying exhibitions\, Shake Up: Preserving What We Value and The Great Hall Renewal Project\, which explore earthquakes through the lens of science\, art\, cultural and traditional knowledge.
