SUMMARY:Skiing & Boarding at Murray Ridge
DESCRIPTION:DEADLINE FOR SIGN UP: Wednesday Jan 7\, 2025 (for January 16th date) and Wednesday Jan 28\, 2025 (for Feb 6th date). \n\nAs in previous years\, the School Program is only for Grade 3 and up.  In the past I covered the K-2 lessons myself\, but I injured myself over the Christmas holidays\, and am not sure if I’ll be able to help much with the younger group this year. If you have K-2 students interested\, please use this link to sign up students younger than grade 3\, and adult participants.   https://forms.gle/QtdJ3yVLdCAvR2PRA I will get in touch directly with you if I can come up with a plan. \nFor Grade 3 and up\, there are not many changes from previous years.  Just please fill out one form per student. \nLessons are included with the school package.  The specific times are only posted on the morning of\, but the earliest ones start at 10am.  Please try to be at the hill between 9:30 and 10:00.  \nPAYMENT: In terms of payment\, please pay me at the hill\, and I will pay the ski hill in one chunk.  They prefer it that way.  If you are with TLA and wish to use your grant\, please connect with your teacher and make sure the amount is on your SLP.  I will then pay with the school credit card. \nIf you wish to pay with grant money from a different school\, the only realistic option is if you have a credit card and can pay directly.  Please only do this once you’ve let me know at the hill\, otherwise I may end up paying twice – and then it’s not quite as good a deal!! \nMEAL OPTIONS:  We have the option of getting a student meal.  The cost is $10 and the options are listed below. \n\nPARENTS AND SUPERVISORS:  We get a certain number of passes depending on the number of students who sign up.  I’ll do my best to spread these around so that every adult pass is a little cheaper.  Murray Ridge doesn’t offer and deals on rentals for supervisors.  As mentioned above\, use this form to sign up.

The Canadian School of Ballet returns to the Kelowna Community Theatre for their 35th year\, featuring their dancers accompanied by principal dancers from the New York City Ballet. \nThe Nutcracker story was written by E.T.A. Hoffmann\, set to music by Tchaikovsky and originally choreographed by Marius Petipa. With non-stop dancing and magnificent sets and costumes\, The Nutcracker is an unforgettable tribute to the imagination. \nThe Nutcracker Story: A Family Favourite Christmas Tradition \nIt is a Christmas Eve party at the Stahlbaum home. A special guest\, Herr Drosselmeyer arrives to charm the children with gifts and magic. Drosselmeyer gives his god-daughter\, Clara\, the special gift of a Nutcracker and a magical dream. As midnight strikes\, Clara falls asleep and dreams of a battle between raging rats\, mischievous mice and steadfast soldiers. The Nutcracker comes to life. Drosselmeyer takes Clara on a journey through a pine forest where Angels light the way to a winter wonderland. \nThe Sugar Plum Fairy welcomes Clara and the Nutcracker to her magical kingdom where they are enchanted by dancers from around the world. \nClara wakes to find it was all a wonderful dream that will stay with her forever. \n\n**Please complete one registration form PER student. \n\n\nContact Person/Information: Pamela Smid\,  psmid@schoolathome.ca
