SUMMARY:BC Parliament 101 Virtual Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:Join TLA for an Online Virtual classroom session with the Education Department of the Legislative Assembly of BC Thursday\, Feb. 8 at 1pm to 2pm.  The online session is hosted by a Parliamentary Tour Guide and includes lots of fun stories and many interesting photos.  The topic is: BC Parliament 101 – a basic introduction to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia and the history of the Parliament Buildings. This session is catered to a fifth grade level\, but can accommodate older students.   The Virtual Classroom session will be offered via Zoom.  Microphone and camera capabilities are preferred for students joining\, but are not required.   Please contact Peggy Smart at psmart@schoolathome.ca  if you have any questions. \nSign-up deadline: February 5\, 2024 \n
