Students will be guided through some of the basics of forensic anthropology\, including a practical portion where the students work with SFU ’s teaching collection (real skeletons). \nBecause of the practical portion of this field trip\, it’s best that students have some understanding of the skeleton prior to coming. Typically\, students have knowledge of which bone is which and they understand that forensic anthropologists try to reconstruct a biological profile (age\, sex\, ancestry\, stature). \n Please sign up here   \nSIGN UP DEADLINE: Friday\, November 30.

DESCRIPTION:THURSDAY\, Dec. 6th from 12:30 pm – 3 pm at the Dawson Creek Alliance Church \nGrade 3-9 TLA students are invited to participate (non-TLA students are welcome\, too!) \nMaximum number of participants: 12 (first registered\, first served) \nPre-registration is necessary. Please fill out one form per participant. \n12:30 pm – Meet at the coffee area in the Dawson Creek Alliance Church \nWe will meet to learn and play different board games. The games are Alhambra\, 10 Days in the Americas\, and Splendor. In this session\, participants should have time to play two out of the three games. A small snack and water will be provided.
