SUMMARY:K-9 Day - Barnston Island Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION:Dear TLA Parents\, for those in the Lower Mainland wishing to take part in TLAs first attempt at K-9 Days to parallel the grade 8-12 LOL (Live on Location) events\, please note that we will be hosting an outdoor activity (weather permitting). \nPlease consider attending the Barnston Island Bike Ride. Bring your bike and a bag lunch. Walk on the Barnston Ferry and join with the rest of the participants for as much of the 10 kilometer ride as you would like. TLA staff will be in attendance. \nDetails: Plan A – Meet at the Barnston Ferry parking lot at 10:30. We will walk our bikes on. We will find a convenient place to stop for a picnic lunch.  Bring clothing to account for the weather. \nPlan B (should the weather be inclement) is to enjoy a Makerspace and possible Destination Imagination activities at the Hawthorne Facility in Classroom 2. Again\, please bring a bag lunch. Parents and students and younger siblings are welcome to enjoy these events together with TLA staff. \nNeither Plan A nor Plan B has any cost associated with it. No need to sign up.
