DESCRIPTION:When: Friday\, May 8th from 1:00pm-2:30pm\nWhere: A beautiful 80-acre farm just outside of Armstrong BC:\n4886 Salmon River Road \nArmstrong BC\, V0E 1B4 \nWho: Homeschooling kiddos Grs. 6-12 \n*ABOUT CARAVAN FARM THEATRE:\nCaravan Farm Theatre is a professional outdoor theatre company based on an 80-acre farm in the North Okanagan. Established in 1978\, Caravan Fram Theatre is a world leader in large-scale outdoor theatre production\, engaging artists and communities with the land. \nTo learn more about this theatre company:\nCARAVAN FARM THEATRE \nThis 90min immersive binaural audio experience offers a unique 45-60 min walk experience through 80 acres of field and forest while listening to a story created to guide the listener through the land. \nEach participant is given headphones and a digital audio player. Students listen to the story unfold as they follow signed\, maintained paths through fields and forests. \nCurriculum Connections:\n-Social Studies (Indigenous Cultures)\n-Arts Education (Drama/Theatre Production & Media Arts)\n-English Language Arts (Creative Writing/Literary Studies/Spoken Language/New Media)\n-Applied Design/Skills & Technologies \nPlease note the following:\nThe walking trails are groomed but not paced\, so students must be prepared for a nature walk through fields and forests and dress appropriately for the weather \nCOST: $15.00/participant\n**Teachers/ chaperones are complimentary** \nREGISTRATION DEADLINE: Friday\, May 1st\n*A minimum of 10 students is required* \nQuestions?
