Joanna lives in Richmond with her husband, Steve (who is also a teacher), and her two daughters, Kate and Kara. She loves teaching and learning alongside her two girls. She enjoys a variety of creative hobbies and relishes any chance to travel.
Joanna graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2004 with a Bachelor of Education, specializing in Special Education. She also holds certification to teach English as a Second Language (TESL) from the University of British Columbia. She has taught in both public and independent schools, and has experience as a classroom and Learning Assistance teacher.
