TLA’s Reading Club!
Welcome back to another year of the Reading Club. We hope that you have a fantastic
summer! Reading logs for both primary and intermediate/secondary are available at
the bottom of the this page.
This year’s Reading Club will issue certificates for 50, 100, and 200 books
read. Please submit copies of your logs to Miss Harold at the office every
couple months. In addition, we would to have an online “book chat”. Feel free
to nominate a book for the first chat in early November. You can email me at
lharold@schoolathome.ca

October’s Recommended Books:
Novel: The Hidden Treasure of Glaston by Eleanore Jewett. This
is a Gr. 7/8 novel, set during the Middle Ages.
Picture Books: Naamah and the Ark at Night by Susan Campbell. Naamah is the wife of Noah and
her name means “great singer”.
