The Program
Each student’s educational program is:
- Developed in consultation with the parents
- Meets the Provincial Learning Outcomes
- Has a variety of teaching strategies and learning activities, including hands-on and collaborative experiences
- Uses a variety of assessment and evaluation methods
Our BC Certified Teachers:
- Live in your local community.
- Help and support you in the education of your children
- Help ensure students meet the requirements of the Provincial Learning Outcomes
- Meet with you in person, where possible, a minimum of three times each year to help plan your program and evaluate your children’s progress, celebrate learning and showcase achievements.
- Connects with you weekly.
- Allow you as much freedom as possible to choose your curriculum materials and plan a program that best suits your children’s needs.
- Provide you with advice and support as and when you need it.
- Provides help with assessment and evaluation and prepares 3 written report cards each year
