Frequently Asked Questions

Can I receive copies of all the e-mail that comes into my child's e-mail account?
Yes, if you want to. To set things up so that you receive a copy of all messages coming into your child's TLA e-mail account, you will need to do the following:

  1. Have your child log into their TLA Webmail account for you (or, if you encourage your children to share their usernames and passwords with you, you can log in to their account on your own!) at
  2. Click on the gear icon on the top-right-hand corner of the webmail page, then click the Settings link and then on Forwarding and POP/IMAP
  3. In the Forwarding sub-section, select "Add a forwarding Address" and follow the instructions, using your own e-mail address
  4. Go to your own email and click on the link to confirm forwarding.
  5. Return to your child's TLA Webmail and return to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP settings page (following 1 and 2) and click "Foward a copy of incoming mail to" and select your child's email address.  If your child's email address it is not shown, try reloading the page (F5 on Windows, Command + r on Mac).
  6. Finally, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the Forwarding and POP section
That it! From now on, copies of all e-mails that come into your child's e-mail account will be forwarded to the e-mail address you specified.
If you are receiving copies of all your child's e-mails and you don't want to, just follow the steps above, but select "Disable forwarding" instead of "Forward a copy of incoming mail to".
